Host WordPress with files and a database

Use standard website and database tools. A dedicated WordPress Toolkit is not available in this documented release.

Before you begin

A domain, compatible PHP, database capacity and trusted WordPress files.

Use the controls offered by your installed version and account permissions. This guide describes the workflow; it does not grant additional access.

Follow the steps

  1. Create the website and HTTPS after DNS is ready.
  2. Create its database and scoped database user.
  3. Upload WordPress to the correct document root.
  4. Complete WordPress's own installer using the connection details.
  5. Maintain WordPress, plugins and themes through their supported workflows and keep backups.

Check the result

The website and its secured administrator login work.
