Server records determine progress; browser animation is not installation evidence.
Before you begin
Access to your role's update view.
Use the controls offered by your installed version and account permissions. This guide describes the workflow; it does not grant additional access.
Follow the steps
- Open current progress or history.
- Read installed/target versions and current stage.
- Hide and reopen progress when needed; hiding is not cancellation.
- Compare the final result with installed version.
- Send the saved failure reference to the server administrator if needed.
Check the result
Completion includes health confirmation, not only a finished download.
If something goes wrong
Hosting users can view status but cannot install server updates. Portal information can lag until the installation reports again.
