Channels select a release track rather than promising every version to every server.

Root administration and a compatible licensed installation.
Use the controls offered by your installed version and account permissions. This guide describes the workflow; it does not grant additional access.
Follow the steps
- Expand release preferences in Update Manager.
- Review selected channel and available change controls.
- Choose the intended track and complete required authorization.
- Check again for eligible updates.
- Read release notes and decide when to install manually.
Check the result
Discovery reflects the actual selected channel and installation eligibility.
If something goes wrong
Beta is for controlled evaluation. Channel selection cannot force downgrade or bypass rollout, signature or runtime policy.
