Customize notification templates
Edit supported messages while preserving required variables and recipient scope.
Before you begin
Administrator permission and knowledge of the intended event.
Use the controls offered by your installed version and account permissions. This guide describes the workflow; it does not grant additional access.
Follow the steps
- Open Email Templates and select the message.
- Review enabled state, recipients and master-layout setting.
- Edit supported subject/body fields without deleting required variables.
- Send a safe test through configured delivery.
- Inspect the result; use version restore or reset when needed.
Check the result
The intended event template and test delivery match the saved content.
If something goes wrong
A template cannot enable an event that is not emitted. Avoid secrets or customer data in tests and preserve essential security instructions.
