Before you begin

Provider console access and a backup of anything you need to retain.

Use the controls offered by your installed version and account permissions. This guide describes the workflow; it does not grant additional access.

Follow the steps

  1. Choose Ubuntu 22.04 LTS or 24.04 LTS on x86-64. The current encoded installer does not qualify ARM builds.
  2. Use a fresh OS with root SSH access; do not install over cPanel, Plesk or a populated production hosting stack.
  3. Check available storage, memory, networking and the public server address.
  4. Keep provider console access available in case SSH or firewall settings need recovery.
Server terminal · read-only
cat /etc/os-release
uname -m
free -h
df -h /

Read-only SSH checks. Expected architecture: x86_64. These commands do not install EzePanel.

Check the result

Verify the current requirements in Install EzePanel and confirm the OS and architecture before proceeding.

If something goes wrong

If existing customer data is present, stop and plan its migration. Reinstalling an OS destroys existing contents.
