Investigate helper integrity warnings
A mismatch means helper bytes differ from their expected trusted identity.
Before you begin
Exact warning, version and provider support access.
Use the controls offered by your installed version and account permissions. This guide describes the workflow; it does not grant additional access.
Follow the steps
- Identify the helper and failure type in Helper Integrity.
- Record recent install/update/repair activity.
- Use verified supported repair for the matching release.
- Recheck integrity and the original scoped operation.
- Retain evidence if repair cannot establish identity.
Check the result
The helper matches trusted expected bytes and its permitted operation works.
If something goes wrong
Never edit expected hashes to match unknown files or disable integrity checks. Do not alter signed release bytes.
