Before you begin

A target backup, sufficient capacity and trusted import file.

Use the controls offered by your installed version and account permissions. This guide describes the workflow; it does not grant additional access.

Follow the steps

  1. Create or select the target database.
  2. Choose its SQL import action and verify ownership.
  3. Select .sql, .gz or .sql.gz as accepted by the form.
  4. Review completion and representative tables and records.
  5. Verify the application's connection and behavior.

Check the result

Expected schema/data exist in the chosen target.

If something goes wrong

Imports are not previews. Embedded CREATE DATABASE or USE statements cannot authorize escape from the tenant target; oversized or unsupported dumps need provider help.
