Open phpMyAdmin and export a database
Use protected database access rather than sharing server credentials.
Before you begin
An owned database, permitted user and phpMyAdmin enabled.
Use the controls offered by your installed version and account permissions. This guide describes the workflow; it does not grant additional access.
Follow the steps
- Open phpMyAdmin through panel database tools.
- Select the intended database identity if prompted.
- Inspect only the permitted database.
- Use phpMyAdmin Export to create a private SQL download.
- Sign out when finished.
Check the result
Only allowed databases are available and the export is stored privately.
If something goes wrong
Do not put dumps into a public document root. A direct URL may not reproduce the panel's protected session flow.
