Configure panel notification SMTP

Notification delivery is distinct from customers' hosted mailboxes.

Before you begin

An authorized SMTP service or configured local delivery.

Use the controls offered by your installed version and account permissions. This guide describes the workflow; it does not grant additional access.

Follow the steps

  1. Open SMTP Settings and choose the delivery mode.
  2. For authenticated SMTP, enter provider domain/IP, port, encryption and credentials.
  3. Use TLS verification and a certificate-matching hostname wherever possible.
  4. Set sender details, test connection and send a test notification.
  5. Inspect Email Delivery Log and actual inbox receipt.

Check the result

Recorded processing and inbox receipt agree.

If something goes wrong

SMTP acceptance alone is not inbox placement. Do not publish credentials; notification settings do not repair MX or mailbox registration.
