Before you begin

Exact error, file size and quota information.

Use the controls offered by your installed version and account permissions. This guide describes the workflow; it does not grant additional access.

Follow the steps

  1. Read accepted file types and limits on the actual page.
  2. Confirm account quota and free server storage.
  3. Distinguish 413, 403, validation errors and timeouts.
  4. Ask the provider to compare route-specific PHP, application, proxy and WAF limits.
  5. Use offered resumable upload where available.

Check the result

The server records the complete file and its follow-up processing.

If something goes wrong

A larger timeout cannot fix authorization. Do not send executable files to an unsupported upload field.
