A tar.gz extension does not prove that an archive is a supported full-account cPanel backup.

Use the controls offered by your installed version and account permissions. This guide describes the workflow; it does not grant additional access.
Follow the steps
- Obtain a full-account archive from source cPanel or its provider.
- Keep an unchanged private original.
- Do not rename an unrelated backup to make it look compatible.
- Review the installed screen's accepted format and upload limit.
- Upload for inspection before deciding what to import.
Check the result
The scan recognizes a supported structure and reports actual components.
If something goes wrong
JetBackup-specific archives are not covered by this guide. Obtain a cPanel full-account backup or ask support to confirm compatibility before uploading.
