Before you begin

SSH key management enabled and an allowed shell policy.

Use the controls offered by your installed version and account permissions. This guide describes the workflow; it does not grant additional access.

Follow the steps

  1. Generate a key pair on a trusted computer.
  2. Paste only its public key into SSH Public Keys.
  3. Save and authorize the intended key when a separate action is offered.
  4. Connect using your private key and the provider's address and port.
  5. Deauthorize or remove unused keys.

Check the result

The key is recorded and access follows the shell policy.

If something goes wrong

Never paste private keys in the panel or support tickets. Keys cannot override suspension or disabled SSH entitlement.
