Add a website domain
Create the hosting-side domain before publishing DNS changes.
Before you begin
Domain ownership, active account and remaining domain capacity.
Use the controls offered by your installed version and account permissions. This guide describes the workflow; it does not grant additional access.
Follow the steps
- Open Domains and use the offered add-domain action.
- Enter the name and choose its supported hosting type.
- Review document root and account ownership, then save.
- Place the intended files in that root.
- Update authoritative DNS and test the website.
Check the result
The domain belongs to your account and serves the expected content.
If something goes wrong
Adding a domain does not register it. Names already owned by another tenant cannot be claimed through this form.
