Before you begin

Terminal enabled by package and server policy.

Use the controls offered by your installed version and account permissions. This guide describes the workflow; it does not grant additional access.

Follow the steps

  1. Open Terminal & SSH Access and review shell mode.
  2. Start a session for your own account.
  3. Use account-level application commands and correct runtime paths.
  4. Close unused sessions and respect lifetime/idle limits.
  5. Request a different shell mode from the provider if necessary.

Check the result

Commands run as the permitted hosting identity.

If something goes wrong

A jailed shell intentionally restricts access. Do not expect root commands or try to escape its scope.
