Before you begin

DNS control and knowledge of local versus remote mail routing.

Use the controls offered by your installed version and account permissions. This guide describes the workflow; it does not grant additional access.

Follow the steps

  1. Open Mail DNS Automation or Email Deliverability.
  2. Inspect MX targets and their addresses.
  3. Review SPF, available DKIM records and DMARC while preserving authorized external senders.
  4. Publish changes at the authoritative provider.
  5. Recheck public answers and perform external delivery tests.

Check the result

DNS matches the intended sending/receiving services.

If something goes wrong

Do not overwrite SPF or DMARC blindly. DNS success cannot guarantee inbox placement or remove a provider's port-25 restrictions.
