Before you begin

No prior server experience required.

Use the controls offered by your installed version and account permissions. This guide describes the workflow; it does not grant additional access.

Follow the steps

  1. Hosting account means a tenant; a domain is a name routed to services.
  2. Document root stores served files; DNS tells clients where names resolve.
  3. PHP-FPM runs PHP requests; database users receive scoped permissions.
  4. SMTP transports messages; IMAP reads stored mailbox contents.
  5. A release is versioned panel code; a channel selects a release track and signatures establish trusted artifact identity.

Use these distinctions when describing problems.

If something goes wrong

DNS does not copy files, certificates do not create websites and payment is separate from server activation.
