Before you begin

Root console and the exact installer command used.

Use the controls offered by your installed version and account permissions. This guide describes the workflow; it does not grant additional access.

Follow the steps

  1. Record failed phase, first error, version and retained log path.
  2. Inspect nearby log lines privately.
  3. Correct only the diagnosed dependency or prerequisite.
  4. Use explicit resume when the installer instructs you.
  5. Preserve original trust/options and complete final validation.

Check the result

The failed phase and later validation complete normally.

If something goes wrong

Do not remove state markers or point current at an unvalidated release. Repeated OS reinstalls do not explain the original failure.
