The planned commercial journey begins with the software subscription, continues through license issuance and identifies the server installation to activate. Activation should confirm the entitlement for that installation.
Get your issued license key securely from the customer portal, then activate it in the installed panel. Keep passwords and activation keys private.
Prepare the server identity carefully.
Know which environment you intend to operate, its hostname and address, and which customer organization owns the commercial relationship. Keep those details consistent when discussing deployment with the team.
Changing an address, rebuilding a VPS or replacing a server can affect the activation journey. Review License Transfer before planning a replacement; no automatic reissue or overlap period is implied here.
Installation, connectivity and activation each answer a different question.
Installation establishes the software and hosting services. Connectivity establishes whether the environment can communicate. Activation establishes the commercial entitlement associated with the installation.
A portal server record or an online status is useful context, but it is not a substitute for an activation result. Keep these steps distinct when checking whether a new environment is ready to host customers.
