1. Inventory scope
Infrastructure, payments, email and support services can have different data-processing roles. The active service entity, purpose, information categories and agreement must be confirmed for each relationship.
2. Service roles
An integration name in source code is not a complete provider disclosure. A payment service, infrastructure processor and customer-selected hosting provider may have different responsibilities and receive different information.
3. Processing locations
A provider’s headquarters does not establish the location of customer processing or backups. Actual regions, support-access arrangements and applicable transfer safeguards require verification.
4. Publication and changes
