Start with the Admin Panel: create the account structure, understand package policy and follow service health. Then explore the User Panel to see how a hosting customer manages domains, email, PHP, files and databases within the access you provide.
A useful evaluation considers the customer experience alongside administrator control. A workflow that is comfortable for an administrator should also be understandable and appropriately scoped for a hosting customer.
Make the evaluation answer your real questions.
For hosting management, consider account provisioning and everyday website changes. For resource control, look at package defaults, account overrides and the relationship between limits and observed usage.
For operations, follow Server Health into Monitoring and supported Recovery. For data protection, examine backup selection, schedules, destinations and restore scope. For security, assess the controls relevant to your environment rather than assuming every control is enabled automatically.
Use a representative environment you can recover.
When evaluation access is available, use a non-production server and test data that resembles your intended workload. Include the PHP/database requirements and storage patterns that matter to your customers.
